Who We Are

Arif Zaher is the Founder and  Director of Al Mana & Associates (AMA), leads the acoustics and entrepreneurship sections and is responsible for all work undertaken by AMA.

Arif was a senior design consultant in a private practice consultancy and responsible for acoustic planning and design for a large number of landmark commercial, residential, health, educational and industrial developments. Apart from project design responsibilities, Arif became involved in office management, project co-ordination and development of technical standards.

A major field of personal project work encompasses some of the largest commercial, residential, health, governmental and industrial construction projects.

Arif’s expertise extends into all branches of acoustics and includes the architectural acoustics of buildings, the control of noise and vibration from mechanical and industrial plant, environmental noise surveys and assessments, and the measurement and assessment of vibration.

Arifs interest in acoustics stems from a genuine interest in problem solving and building acoustics design allied to a very high level of experience in all phases of the design and construction of major projects.

Arif has proven experience in establishing economical acoustic designs for the isolation of large mechanical plant items as encountered in central plant office towers.
